Jason's Splish Splash Card

I am sorry I'm so late posting this. I've had it done and up on my blog for a while, I just haven't gotten it posted over here.

Once again, I failed to use the Cricut on it. I must get better at that!

Cheryll's Black and Yellow Challenge

What can you do with yellow and black? These two colors are commonly associated with bumblebees and taxi cabs, but what else is there? The Design Team has been challenged to see what they can come up using yellow and black as their primary colors. We would love to see what you can come up with also. Here is Miss Cheryll's "BEE yourself" card.

Chrissy's Bee Bear

Amy's Black & Yellow Challenge

Leanne's Yellow and Black Challenge

Randi's Black and Yellow Challenge

I really wanted to try out my copics with this stamp. I think my nesties really completed the card. enjoy!

Mindy's Black and Yellow Creation

Deborah's Yellow & Black Challenge

Linda's Yellow and Black Challenge project

This bag was inspired by Kathy Orta on the Cricut mb. The black has the faux croc technique. Finished size is 8 X 11". Brads heat embossed to match the matte gray rings. I filled the finished bag with biscotti as a gift for my mom.

Britten's Yellow, Black & White Challenge

I think I finally figured it out. I keep finding odd ways to use my cricut so I don't have to cut up any of my pretty paper! The skull is from Indie Art (modified in DS with George) and the flowers are from Accent Essentials. All the details on how I made it are on my blog.

Jason's Just B Happy

I've finally participated in a challenge again!! It's been too long ... sorry I've been a slacker!

I was naughty and didn't use my Cricut at all on this card. I have kind of been occupied a lot lately with Stampin Up and getting that collection going. So everything on this card except the ribbon is from Stampin Up.

The yellow is SU's Summer Sun. I also used the Summer Sun ink pad to create the pattern on the white paper with one of SU's roller stamps. The sentiment is from the "Just B" set which just barely retired.

Sorry the image isn't that great. I had to use a scanner at work rather than taking a photo like I normally do.

Amy's Fruit Challenge

The apples were punched from DCWV Sweet Stack paper, The "Love You" is from the new Cricut Jubilee Cartridge and the ribbon was from the dollar bins at Target.

Chrissy's Strawberry Thank You

The layout is based on MoJo Monday Sketch 82. Paper is My Minds Eye and border punch is Martha Stewart. Strawberry was cut from Indie Art. Diamonds are cut from Nesties. They are actually squares turned sideways. Ribbon from my stash. The flower is Prima with a brad center. Sentiment is Studio G stamp.

Stacy's Fruit Challenge

Ok, so I came up with this challenge because so much of what I have been doing is fruit related lately. I have been on a popsicle card kick (see them on my blog) and then my cousin's fiancee decided that the theme for her wedding shower is going to be pears. Therefore, I am making 80 of these little bags and placecards shown in the pictures below to hold the shower gift. They are all going to be in different shades of yellow/gold and green. The big pear cutouts from this bag and the placecard cutouts are all Home Accents. The little tag on the bag is from Joys of the Season with a rectangle from George and Basic Shapes cut out of it. TFL and hope you enjoy!

Deborah's Fruit Challenge

Disney Dreams Come True & Home Decor Cartridge, Stamping Bella Die, Magnolia Stamp
and various "Fruit" stickers. More Pictures are on my blog. TFL.

Randi's Fruit Challenge

Waterfall card. Hello Kitty and DCWV Sweet stack

Leanne's - Fruit Challenge

I used the Mojo Monday Week 90 sketch for my design. The pineapple I cut from PDDU. The sentiment and scallop circle are both stampin up. The paper is from animal crackers. Hope you like! More details on my blog!

Mindy's Fruit Challenge

The watermelon from Stretch Your Imagination is perfect for this little pixie to sit on. I used Basic Grey's Lime Rickey paper to add a summery feel and topped it off with a juicy watermelon border.

Britten's - Fruit Challenge

Here's my fruit challenge...the cherries are from HK Greetings, the font is Blackletter. The chipboard is Grungeboard and just about everything else is part of the paper!

LilGreenBug's Fruit Challenge Card

The summer season has me longing for tropical punch on a sandy beach, and that's the inspiration for this card. All Cricut cuts from LAB.(if this is posted incorrectly, please feel free to move to correct spot.)

Fruit Challenge

Stacy posed the following challenge:

A tisket a tasket, what fruit is in your basket?

For this challenge, please use fruit (the real sweet stuff!!) in your design. Extra credit if you use a play on words with your fruit in the project ie Berry Sweet!!

Can't wait to see what everyone has come up with ;)

Bling Challenge by LilGreenBug

This is my project for the bling challenge. The image is from Faerie Song and is my first project using Copic markers. I still have a lot to learn, but it is a fun process. For the bling, I used Stickles (thanks, design team!), iridescent glitter glue, 4 rhinestones, sparkly Prima flowers and the dangling stars were in a treasure box from team mate, Lacy Gilbertson. (Note to Cheryll or Stacy: If I posted this wrong, please feel free to make corrections)

June 1st Challenge-BLING!

For June 1 I challenged the team to create some BLING! Here is what we've come up with. Won't you play along with us! Show us some BLING!

Leanne
For my card I used a digi image from Lily-Boo's Boutique and colored with my prisma pencils. The snail is a Studio G stamp and the sentiment is one I've had in my stash. I've added stickles to the roses and butterfly (which is actually cut again, colored and pot dotted). Pot dotted the snail also and added 3 little gems from my stash. Hope you like!

Britten

I made these favor boxes for the girls' second birthday party yesterday. I used a whole bottle of Stickles on 20 little boxes so they were very sparkly but I couldn't get them to photograph well, no matter what I tried.

Mindy

For this bling challenge I used a Tilda image from Magnolia Stamps. The mushroom she is sitting on is also from Magnolia. To add the bling factor, I used bling cardstock, glittered cardstock, stickled on top of the bling and the glitter, and added a little shine to the Tilda herself as well. I hope the bling shows up enough in the photo. I really tried to got all out with bling on this one.

Cheryll

Not a whole lot of bling but does it really take that much to call it bling? See the little gems on her hat! Isn't she just the cutest image. Reminds me that summer is here!

Stacy
Ok, there are a lot of pictures for this one - this is my first layout using skittles so I am very excited about it. My other bling for this challenge are the eyelets and glitter letters, which are a little difficult to see in the picture.

Polka Dot Challenge!

LACY's POLKA DOT CHALLENGE PROJECT

Didn't the DT do a beautiful job on that last challenge? I've been so busy "looking" that I almost forgot to post the new one! Here you go:

Miss Lacy says,

"POLKA DOTS! Anything with lot's of polka dots!"

Easy peasy right. I love polka dots! Can't wait to see what the team comes up with using POLKA DOTS!

Love you all!

Rain! Rain! Rain! Tis the season, so I got out my umbrella stamps from PTI and can't get enough of them! Everything about these cards is Papertrey Ink except for the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I made a set of 6 in different flavors! Thanks for the polka dot challenge Lacy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LEANNE

Hey everyone! Here is my challenge card! I used a image I found online and colored with my prisma pencils. The flower is from Graphically Speaking and embossed with Swiss Dots folder. The stem was hand cut and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch. I used stickles to add a little bling. Thanks for looking, hope you like!!

CHRISSY

Hi everyone! Here is my challenge card. I based the whole card around the ribbon from my stash. The stamp is a Penny Black. I loved it because the envelope had polka dots too! I cut him using Nesties and I colored him with my Bic Markers. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. The papers are a mix of DCWV LaCreme and Bazzill.
Hope you like!

Here is my submission for the polka dot challenge. All of the images are from Dustin Pike. I had to color the Mr. Fixit dragon for his most recent release and my wife suggested I use it to make her a "honey do" list. So I thought it would be perfect to mix it with the polka dot challenge for here.

The two pattern papers are from DCWV. As mentioned, the images are from Dustin Pike and colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits.

STACY

Here is my very first explosion box complete with polka dot backgrounds on the innermost flaps. This is for my cousin's new baby, she likes to scrapbook but with a full time job, two other kids, and a brand new baby, I thought this would help give her a bit of a start with all of the pictures she has sent us.
