Teacher Thank You's

Hi everyone! Here are my challenge cards. This weekend I had to make teacher thank you's for our Pre-School Graduation Day. I did not know that I was going to meet the color challenge as well. I hope you and the teachers enjoy them. I had fun making them.

Polka Dot Challenge!

LACY's POLKA DOT CHALLENGE PROJECT

Didn't the DT do a beautiful job on that last challenge? I've been so busy "looking" that I almost forgot to post the new one! Here you go:

Miss Lacy says,

"POLKA DOTS! Anything with lot's of polka dots!"

Easy peasy right. I love polka dots! Can't wait to see what the team comes up with using POLKA DOTS!

Love you all!

Rain! Rain! Rain! Tis the season, so I got out my umbrella stamps from PTI and can't get enough of them! Everything about these cards is Papertrey Ink except for the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I made a set of 6 in different flavors! Thanks for the polka dot challenge Lacy!

Hey everyone! Here is my challenge card! I used a image I found online and colored with my prisma pencils. The flower is from Graphically Speaking and embossed with Swiss Dots folder. The stem was hand cut and the leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch. I used stickles to add a little bling. Thanks for looking, hope you like!!

Hi everyone! Here is my challenge card. I based the whole card around the ribbon from my stash. The stamp is a Penny Black. I loved it because the envelope had polka dots too! I cut him using Nesties and I colored him with my Bic Markers. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. The papers are a mix of DCWV LaCreme and Bazzill.
Hope you like!

This was a baby shower invite I was asked to make and it just happened to also fit in with the Sugar Sweet Paper Treat polka dot challenge for this week! Everything except the scallop and circle is from the New Arrival cartridge.

Here is my submission for the polka dot challenge. All of the images are from Dustin Pike. I had to color the Mr. Fixit dragon for his most recent release and my wife suggested I use it to make her a "honey do" list. So I thought it would be perfect to mix it with the polka dot challenge for here.

The two pattern papers are from DCWV. As mentioned, the images are from Dustin Pike and colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits.

STACY

Here is my very first explosion box complete with polka dot backgrounds on the innermost flaps. This is for my cousin's new baby, she likes to scrapbook but with a full time job, two other kids, and a brand new baby, I thought this would help give her a bit of a start with all of the pictures she has sent us.

05.01.09 Challenge

So, just look at what this great team has come up with for the last challenge. Aren't they amazing! Every single project is unique and different! What wonderful work huh?

OK, I know, I know, you're waiting for me to stop jabbering so you can find out the next challenge right? I knew it! Well, for our May 1st challenge Deb has decided we need to do something with April showers bring May flowers. I don't know about you but I've had enough showers for a while and we've only just started our rainy season! BUT, we do have some pretty flowers because of it.

Here's Deb's challenge:

"April showers bring may flowers...Main focus for May 1st challenge is flowers, but there is a twist...something has to be 3D - it doesnt matter what, it can be a box, journal, purse, an altered item or a card with a 3D embellishment on it. Anything goes the choice is yours...just remember flowers and 3 dimensional."

Come play with us! And remember, if you do play, we'll be picking a guest designer for our next months challenges. Leave a comment with the link to your project in the comment section of this post so we can find you.

Have fun! Now, ready, set, SCRAP!
